NOTES FROM THE DESIGNER

I’ve always been drawn to things with character. Things that make you look twice, feel something, or stay with you long after the first encounter. I believe these are the things that last.

Whether it’s a visual identity, an illustration, or a piece of furniture, I’m interested in the idea that art doesn’t have to live in a frame. It can live on the objects we use, the spaces we inhabit, and the everyday things we choose to surround ourselves with.

I like the thought of making the ordinary a little less ordinary. Of giving things a story, a sense of place, and a personality of their own. And if there’s one thing that ties everything I do together, it’s the belief that the things we make should feel like something, not just look like something.
